Tree of Life: Take Inventory of Your Accomplishments!

Have you ever sat back and took inventory of your accomplishments?  I guess the question is: what do you consider to be an accomplishment?

Often, we look at accomplishments as something monumental like graduating from college or getting a promotion at a job, but what about the smaller things?  My suggestion is that we take small steps and eventually we will hit on the bigger picture. For instance, set a goal of saving $5 a week. Try making a list of “to do’s” for the week and accomplishing at least one thing from that list.  As women, there is a list of thing we tend to overlook and pat ourselves on the back for like:  cleaning the house, coming home and caring for your children, exercising, praying, reading your bible daily.

The Bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord, and I encourage you to do the same. Praise yourself for what you get done each and every day. Don’t beat yourself up for what didn’t get completed or the goal you haven’t reached yet.  Part of the process of achieving success is recognizing accomplishments along the way to stay motivated along your journey. So, from this day forward be sure to take inventory daily and thank God for each step. ~ Lady A
