Wake up. School. Homework. Dinner. Bath-time. Sleep.
REPEAT.
This might be the exact same schedule of your school-age children. How about throwing in something fun during the week? My suggestion: ICE CREAM!
A gallon of ice cream costs on average five bucks. That's a cheap way to throw some fun into what seems like a monotonous routine for kids. If you don't want to go and buy a gallon of your favorite ice cream, you can try Mickey D's or Burger King. McDonald's has a soft serve cone that's around $1, and Burger King has a sister of the Slurpee for around the same price.
Treat your little ones every once in a while; they will definitely come to look forward to those ice cream days!
